On One Leg For Legs - Tony Horton One on One Volume 2 Disk 11

Volume 2 Disk 11
On One Leg For Legs

Beachbody
This is another of the One on One workouts that will be great for the road or while travelling. It runs 52 minutes with warm-up and cool-down. It is 10 Leg exercises, but done on one leg, and then the other leg. Much like the first On One Leg, many people out there do not like this workout. I think there are pros and cons to it. It is such a specialized workout that I do not see myself using it as often as some of the others. It is a good workout; it will push your legs to the limit, especially if you really try to keep up with Tony.
The Exercises are:
Russian Squats
Half Moon Lunges

Pumpers
Royal Dancer Kick
Seat Drops
One Legged Chair
Teeter Totter

Cross Hops
Single Leg Wall Squat
Standing Split And Reach
Bonus Pushups

I get the impression that many people don't like certain workouts that are isometric ( ie. slow or static movements ). Yet at the same time I find that these are the ones that do me the best good. I just did ISO Abs this morning and it seriously hurt!

Not sure if you're aware, but rumor has it that P90Next is on the horizon, as well as a follow up to Insanity. Sweeeet.

AQnd Tony Horton is also writing a fitness book. Looking forward to both the book and Next.

Steve, do you think this might be a good Yoga substitute as well every now and then? Most moves that I was familiar with seemed like they could be done in a Yoga patience type of move (royal dancer, one leg wall squats, etc)? Just wanted your thoughts. With my luck the music is probably the loud hardcore insane stuff...

Dan,

I don't think so. This is not as fluid or focused as his Yoga workouts. The two On on One Yoga's are great.
