This book only has 8 double page spreads. But it has a giant "FLUSH ME!" button that comes through on each page. And children will laugh and giggle and love pushing that button. It is a fairly simple story and the illustrations are in Caroline Jayne Church's characteristic style that we love as a family. Caroline Jayne Church is one of our favorite children's illustrators. This book is simple and fun and gets the point across. I don't think it will be a great potty training tool, but it will always bring a smile and laugh from children.

It is a wonderful new book by an amazing author and illustrator.

Between the two authors they have written well over 100 books for children. This is the first book by Marion Dane Bauer we have read, and about the 10th by Caroline Jayne Church. CJ Church is one of our favorite authors and illustrators. And based on this book we will need to track down more by Marion Dane Bauer. The illustrations are unmistakably in Caroline Jayne Church's style and yet they use a much brighter pallet than some of her other books. It is a wonderful little book and it will quickly become a family favorite.

When my wife read this she loved it and could not wait to share it with our children. It is a great story with awesome illustrations. Caroline Jane Church's books are some of my children's favorites. She has authored and/or illustrated over 90 books. I doubt we will get to read them all, but we have loved all we have read. This new series is based upon known nursery rhymes with the first two titles being The More We Get Together and You Are My Sunshine. With shiny metallic covers children are immediately attracted to the books, and Caroline's characteristic illustrations, children's faces and actions, will draw in young children who will love to have the books read again and again. And children will also sit and flip through them by themselves over and over again. The 12 pages in this board book convey so much emotion and fun, children will love them.

These books are wonderfully illustrated and have great stories. It is the story of a young girl's Easter - finding hidden eggs, following a jelly bean trail and finding a big surprise. There are textures to touch and items embedded in the pages for younger children to explore and the story will keep older children entertained.

This is a great little book for the Halloween season. It is about a little boy who is trying to decide what to be for Halloween. Either through dress up or his imaginations, he plays out a number of scenarios. He becomes a pirate, a dinosaur, a bat, a robot, a monkey and a superhero. It is a bright, colourful, fun-filled book, with great illustrations, and sections of each page have textures, or flaps or reflective surfaces for the younger children to interact with. It is a little book full of big-time fun for your little ones.

Pip Squirrel is going about his day when he notices the leaves on the tree are changing color. He is so shocked, he lets go of the tree and falls. Then he attempts to collect the leaves and reattach them to the tree. His mother, when she discovers what he is up to, smiles and explains about the tree. It is a great little story. The squirrels look more like dogs with funny tails but other than that the illustrations are great. The trees and the leaves in full bloom are extremely well done. This is a fun, bright colorful book to share with children.
