Angel of God, My guardian Dear,
To whom God's love commits me here,
Be ever this day Be at my Side,
To light and guard,
To rule and guide,

Angel of God, My guardian Dear,
To whom God's love commits me here,
Be ever this night, Be at my Side,
To light and guard, To rule and guide,
If I should die before I wake, I pray my soul the Lord to take
Amen
My grandmother who was Presbyterian by and Anglican taught me these prayers we always said them last thing at night and first thing in the morning when we stayed at her place..
