Remembrance Day 2022
Thank you to all the men and women who have served. May we always remember and honour your service and your sacrifice! To the families who have lost members either in the field of battle or who came home changed, thank you.
When I was young I recall my grandmother always bought real poppies. She got a wreath to take to the memorial. She wore a real poppy. And she told stories about my grandfather, her siblings, friends, who had served. I now keep a poppy on my desk all year long to remember, and to pray for the fallen. Over the last few years I have read amazing stories about Military Chaplains, their faith, their devotion, their heroism.
