This book is the telling of the story of Junior, a seven-year old who was trapped after the Port-au-Prince earthquake. It recounts how he survived by imagining what he would do. Each day he did different things - at first with his friend who was trapped with him and after he passed, with his sister. The book is amazingly illustrated and charmingly written. The illustrations are wonderful. Join Junior as he journeys through the 8 days he was trapped and what he imagined he was doing each of those days. Edwidge Danticat, who was born in Port-au-prince and now resides in the US, is an award-winning author. Alix Delinois was born in Saint Marc, Haiti and now lives in New York.
